Canada Climate Action Foundation (CCAF) Launches to Accelerate Feminist Climate Action Globally
10 July, 2025 — The newly established Canada Climate Action Foundation (CCAF) has officially launched with a mission to empower communities in Canada and around the world — particularly women and marginalized groups — with the knowledge, tools, and partnerships needed to tackle the climate crisis.

Founded by a team of climate advocates, scientists, and community leaders, CCAF will focus on:

• Raising public awareness through localized climate science and community engagement that highlights the voices of women most affected by climate change.
• Partnering with schools, media, employers, and women’s networks to embed climate knowledge in everyday conversations and amplify feminist leadership.
• Supporting community-based projects in Canada, underdeveloped, and developing countries that advance sustainability, resilience, and gender equality.

Our vision is simple but urgent, to ensure every person, especially women on the frontlines of climate change, understands that this is not tomorrow’s problem. It is happening here and no.  By working together, we can build a sustainable and equitable future that protects people, communities, and our shared environment.
